ROOM INFORMATION Each room has its own particular style. All have been furnished with taste, after hunting around the antique shops and flea markets of Switzerland, France and Italy. They are relaxing and comfortable; some of our customers like those on the upper floors with the view over the mountains, others prefer those on the ground floor that look out to the Chemin de l’Impératrice.
Almost everyone falls for the Romantic Suites, with their views over the lake and the Alps.
Full Suite The "Familiale" Suite is like the "Romantique"Suite, but with an additional room for two children and access either via the bathroom or the outside corridor. It’s a good arrangement since you can choose either to be by yourselves or with the children, and depending on their age you can let them come and go using their entrance, or you can have them pass through the parents’ bedroom.
We have two kinds of Junior Suite to
offer you: The "Romantique" consists of the room, a private bathroom and a
veranda with a breathtaking view. The double rooms are perhaps more simply furnished than the Junior Suites, but they still have all their charm and a lovely view over the mountains.
FOOD & BEVERAGE Our restaurant is the Buffet de la Gare de Caux, which means your room is always quiet. You will enjoy having your meals there from breakfast through to dinner, either à la carte, half board or full board. The ambience is warm, welcoming and always artistic. What’s more if you keep different hours, because you are writing a book or just felt like getting up late, our team of three chefs is available continuously from 8am to 10pm (breakfast from 8am to 11am and à la carte meals from 11am to 10pm).
AREA INFORMATION In the distance, Mont-Blanc reigns over the Alps. At our feet, Lake Geneva and its boats, Montreux, the meeting place of the great known throughout the world for its gentle atmosphere and its international festivals, the Museum of Vevey and the Pierre Gianadda Foundation in Martigny. Around us is the little village of Caux, with its ski-runs in winter, walking trails in summer. Above us, the Dent de Jaman rises majestically to 2045 meters, and with the Rochers-de-Naye dominates the lakeside Riviera, one of the most beautiful places in the world and recently classified as part of the UNESCO world heritage.
