Rancho De La Osa is a 300
year old ranch property located 65 miles from Tucson and
is one of the last great haciendas in America.
Established as a guest ranch in 1923, Rancho De La Osa’s
history has been lovingly preserved in the beautiful
buildings that rest comfortably in the rolling
grasslands of the high Sonoran Desert. The 21 adobe guest
rooms are uniquely and vibrantly furnished with Mexican
antiques. Each has a porch that opens to mountain views
and most rooms have a wood burning fireplace. Meal times
are focused around quality food and wine, and daytime
activities include horseback riding, hiking, mountain
biking, nature walks, and bird watching. Rancho De La
Osa’s themed weekends can include cowboy cookouts, wine
tasting dinners, cooking lessons, cattle round ups and
informal western dance instruction.
Group Meetings/Retreats: Rancho De La
Osa is an ideal venue for small weddings in
a romantic and historic setting. With
experience in hosting both formal and
informal ceremonies, weekend wedding
packages are offered that encompass all
meals (including the rehearsal and reception
dinners), accommodations and activities for
up to 50 guests. Also offered is an
elopement package for couples that want a
memorable occasion without all the work of
planning a wedding.
